INTRODUCTION

When was the last time you saw a sunrise?

Don’t worry—I’m not here to sell you a ticket to the 5 AM Club. Honestly, I wish I had the habit of waking up early. But let’s be real—I’m still buried under my blanket most mornings while the sun quietly climbs over the hills.

Yes, many successful people have mastered their mornings. But on the flip side, many more of us try... and fail to catch up. We wake up early occasionally, go into "beast mode," break a hundred papads (crackers), chug raw eggs, and jump into ice-cold showers. By 10 am, we’re ready to Supplex our boss.

If that’s your plan, you might be daydreaming.

And while daydreaming is fun, it doesn’t always align with reality.

Morning Is Not the Beginning

Think of your enthusiasm as a glass of water. The moment you wake up, that glass starts to drain. From choosing what clothes to wear, forcing yourself into an intense workout, to rushing through traffic and diving into meetings—everything sips a bit of that water. And then comes the real work, which gulps it down even faster.

By the time you get home, you’re too tired to focus. “Me time” becomes endless scrolling or binge-watching, and your energy is gone. There's nothing left for your goals, ideas, or even basic self-reflection.

For most beginners, mornings aren't fully in our control. That’s why starting small—and focusing on what is in our control—matters more than we think.

So, what exactly is in our control?

The knight who guards his Night

We often have more control over our nights than our mornings. So why not win where we can? If you get things right at night, mornings stop being a battle. Think of the 20/80 rule: putting in just 20% effort at night can make 80% of your morning fall into place naturally. Less chaos, more control.

And science backs it. Research from Baylor University (2018) shows that writing a to-do list before bed can reduce anxiety and even help you fall asleep faster. The mind craves closure—when it knows tomorrow is mapped out, it lets go of the panic and rests easier.

In this blog, we’ll explore how nighttime preparation leads to better mornings, giving you back your time and focus. So, suit up—yes, in your pyjamas—because this isn’t just sleep; it’s strategy. And you’re not alone. A whole battalion is ready to help defend the fortress of your dreams.

THE HIGH HORSE – CONSISTENCY

Lub-dub, dub-dub—the heartbeat syncs with the steady march of a horse across a desert. Through the burning sand, thorny forests, and Rocky Mountains hiding wild threats, you ride. Not a gallop of glory, but a stride of solitude and stamina.

This isn’t just a horse. This is your high horse—the one that doesn't boast but endures. Its legs stretch taller with each step, towering over the noise of the rat race below, carrying you toward your moonlit goals.

When it lowers its head and sees the stars reflected in the sand, you realize—you're not just moving forward, you're rising above.

HOW TO RIDE THE HIGH HORSE

  • Lunge daily—with discipline and a bit of flair.

  • Persist—even when the tall legs tremble.

  • Focus on the path, not the applause.

  • Follow the moon, not the herd

💡 Fun Fact: Horses can sleep while standing up! So even when they rest, they stay ready, just like your habits should be.

THE PAPAD (CRACKER) MOON

Up in the sky, among the stars, floats a moon made entirely of papad (Cracker). With just one effortless strike, you can shatter it into pieces. But here's the twist: this papad moon guides your high horse toward the light effortlessly, with less intensity.

By breaking tasks down into small, manageable pieces, you can achieve great things with minimal effort. Your horse, empowered by these small steps, will lead you to victory with just 1% of the effort.

Don't underestimate the power of small tasks. If you lose confidence in these little things, don your pyjamas, put on your knight’s helmet, and remember: You are the one who will strike tomorrow’s heart before it even knows what hit it.

HOW TO REACH THE PAPAD MOON

  • Embrace low-intensity work and the magic of compounding.

  • Break down tasks into small bites, like papad.

  • Use the 20/80 rule—20% effort, 80% results.

  • Focus on 1% improvement, habit stacking, and creating systems.

Note: This is a calorie-free, non-edible papad (Cracker), strictly for consumption in your dreams.

KNIGHT IN HIS PYJAMAS

Droplets of Instagram reels trickle down your eyeballs, and you're lost in the world of endless fantasy. Afraid of novelty, the warrior is trapped in the comfort of his bed, hands bound to the small screen. But tonight, you decide to become the knight who guards his time from the digital barbarians, armed with capitalism and the endless cycle of draining your time for their profit.

Now is the time to make small, intentional efforts and reclaim tomorrow. Rise from your pyjamas and don your helmet. Go to bed early, not thinking any less of yourself. Use your pride, aggregate small wins, and let them compound into something much bigger. Stand in front of the mirror and believe in yourself. And whenever doubt creeps in, look to the Eternal Hawk.

HOW TO AFFORD KNIGHT PYJAMAS AND A HELMET

  • Make use of your Pride.

  • Endurance of Solitude

  • Gratitude and Comradeship

  • Self-Love

  • Tame the Hawk.

Note: Remove your helmet before going to bed, unless you've taken my words to heart.

THE ETERNAL HAWK

I’m always high—no, not that kind of high—I mean soaring above the clouds, alert and aware. I hunt night owls for midnight snacks and feast on early birds for breakfast. My wings span far, but it’s my vision that sets me apart. I see not just the world, but myself, with clarity. I accept my flaws, sharpen my strengths, and fly beyond doubt.

I am your inner belief system, your silent guardian, your true identity. I’m the reason you’ve made it this far. With piercing eyesight, precision strikes, and unmatched focus, I soar ahead.

In many cultures, hawks symbolize strength, freedom, and intuition—and in you, I am all of that and more.

HOW TO TAME THE HAWK

• Identity Change – Become who you need to be, not who you were.

• Routine – Daily rhythms help the hawk return to your shoulder.

• Flexibility & Embracing Imperfection – Adapt mid-flight, not after the crash.

• Need a Sword to Completely Tame It – The pen (your sword) sharpens self-reflection and control.

Note- During the Middle Ages, artists suggested nobility or high social class by depicting a hawk on the arm of a man on horseback.

THE SWORD

When the world isn’t going your way, it’s time to draw your sword—not one of steel, but one that spills ink. Tiny in size, longer than a needle, and sharper than your doubts, this sword doesn’t slash enemies—it writes your reality.

It lives quietly in your pocket, your geometry box, or lying at an odd angle on your table. But don’t be fooled by its stillness—the pen is mighty.

Writing things down doesn’t just organize your chaos; it slices your problems in half. Whether it’s black, blue, or violet, the ink may change, but the impact never does. Every word you write is a strike in your Favor—lethal, clear, and powerful.

HOW TO STRIKE WITH YOUR SWORD

  • Tap into the power of your subconscious.

  • Journal your thoughts and victories.

  • Practice self-analysis and daily reflection.

  • Read and write with intention.

  • Handle boredom by swinging your sword.

Fun fact - When given a new pen, 95% of the time, the first word written is the receiver’s name.

The battalion is assembled. Now, it’s time to prepare for battle.

But how do you train your horse to be more consistent and disciplined?

Do you really need a ladder to climb onto your high horse—or will the horse kneel for you when you’re ready?

Stay tuned for the next blog to find out. 🐎⚔️
